Dr. Vadim Goshko, D.P.M provides a variety of services aiming to improve and maintain the foot and ankle health of patients throughout Chicago and South Chicago in Illinois at the European Foot and Ankle Clinics. Dr. Goshko treats patients for sport medicine procedures, inflammatory joint diseases, and reconstructive foot surgery. He specializes in minimal incision/ no scar surgery for bunions and hammertoe. We provide not only conventional medical and surgical treatments to our patients, but also incorporate homeopathic and holistic medicine, as well as innovative treatments for heel pain and neuromas, such as non-steroidal European injections that provide relief and can prevent painful surgery. Dr. Goshko treats all of his patients with respect and care for their needs.

Dr. Goshko graduated from W. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Cook County Hospital. He is American Board of Lower Extremities Surgery(ABLES) eligible.

Dr. Goshko and his colleagues at European Foot and Ankle Clinic work to ensure that all patients receive the care and services they need while being treated with the utmost respect. He understands that each patient has their needs and concerns and that an individualized approach is essential to high-quality care. He specializes in the minimal incision surgical procedures to help his patients to have quick recovery times with as little discomfort as possible

Dr. Irakly Pataraia, DPM

Board-Certified Podiatric Physician and Surgeon

Dr. Irakly Pataraia brings over two decades of diverse medical experience to his practice, with a strong background in both international and U.S.-based healthcare systems. His dedication to advancing patient care is rooted in an extensive education and surgical training journey.

He began his medical education at Tbilisi State Medical University in Georgia (1989–1995), followed by an internship at Tbilisi Jeleznodorojnyi Hospital. From 1996–1998, he completed a residency at ST Petersburg Mechnikov North-Western State Medical University, and later worked at Aleksandrovskyi Hospital in St. Petersburg as part of a PhD program (1998–2008).

Upon relocating to the U.S., Dr. Pataraia worked as a surgical assistant at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Burlington, IL (2009–2017), and then in the Open Heart Surgery Department at Loyola University in Chicago (2017–2018).

He earned his DPM from Touro University’s New York College of Podiatric Medicine (2018–2021), and completed his podiatric residency at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago (2021–2024), where he received advanced training in foot and ankle surgery.

Outside the Clinic Dr. Pataraia enjoys staying active as a soccer player, often joining local leagues and pickup games. He’s a lifelong learner who loves reading books on science, history, and personal development. Fascinated by astronomy, he frequently stargazes and keeps up with discoveries in space science. He also enjoys traveling, trying new cuisines, and spending time with family.
